And there is another (separate) problem connected with this that I haven't even mentioned... I'll have to give this some thought, but basically my problems seem to stem from the way the footnotes are handled

hi. i'd like it that backticks in markdown files get converted to <tt></tt> and not <code></code>. Anyone knows the best way to configure this?
