[10 years ago] lethosor actually, "/path/*" and "!/path/*.min.*" should work
[10 years ago] Palmer11 ok. thanks. I just wasn’t sure on the *.min.* part
[10 years ago] rockfruit if I rename a repo, github kindly redirects all request for the old URLs to the new. are these redirects forever?
[10 years ago] lethosor rockfruit: I think so, unless you create a new repo with the old name

I'd like to make my lfs backed repo public and require no password to pull large files from the lfs server.
[10 years ago] xiphiaz hey what is github's standpoint on username squatting?
[10 years ago] isifreek xiphiaz: on more than one?
[10 years ago] xiphiaz no well I would like to create an organisation at https://github.com/spira but there exists an account that has had no activity at all in 5 years. If possible I would like to be able to claim that name
[10 years ago] isifreek xiphiaz: oh, uuuhh interesting Q... i guess all you can do is ask.
[10 years ago] isifreek i suspect that will be theirs indefinitely
