right now, I actually deleted the fork, created a new repo by that name using the GH interface and pushed my repo into it "using git push --force", and it seems to work

Hi, I'm trying to set up a github page for my project, it's been 30 minutes since the last push and I still can't access it through the github.io domain. I had actually deleted the *.github.io repository and recreated it.
