the people who do see it can checking out but can't delete it because of remote ref doesn't exist.

has anybody ever seen an issue with Github where after a branch is deleted traces of it are still around for some people? We are seeing an issue where if I run a git branch -r I'm not seeing the deleted branch, some others are seeing it. This is causing our Jenkins builds to fail because it IS seeing it

I have a file 'foo' in my .gitignore but when I run git commit * -m "my message" I am greeted with this message: error: pathspec 'foo' did not match any file(s) known to git.
