There was just the co-incidence that the pull request i was looking at and the example in the help page you linked had 4 digit id's.

In github, when you are checking out someone's pull request, is it necessary to go to the requester's forked repository by clicking on his name link and then go their repository to find the branch ? Isn't there a shortcut link somewhere to directly take it there ? I am noob.
