ok,i'm past that point but now my question is should the github repo branch be source or master? the instructions say 'make sure that the master branch is the default branch' but my push went to the source branch.

i'm a new octopress user and trying to follow the instructions at http://octopress.org/docs/deploying/github/ to for github pages. when i try to 'rake deploy' i'm getting a error about the tip of the branch being behind the remote.
