the only thing i can think of is i changed the name of the github repository, but that was before i set the remote so the url was the correct one

i can't push my local repo to my new github repo, it says "... does not appear to be a git repository", and i copy pasted

hi, whenever i create a new github repository, do i need to import the public key or something? or does the one i have configured in my account settings used?
