hello, when I visit a project's issues tab, the default filter is is:issue is:open" <- what's the point of "is:issue"? What else will I get if I remove "is:issue" from the filter?

hello, I pushed then forced push a dev branch to my remote repository on GitHub. Commits in this branch references issues. When viewing issues, commits before me force pushing are cross linked <-- will they eventually disappear?
