when i was researching the right "setup" i kept coming across posts like this: http://brettterpstra.com/2012/09/26/github-tip-easily-sync-your-master-to-github-pages/

i make a 'dist' folder or whatever to house the deliverables. if you have a ton of documentation you might look at the wiki. im new to git/github (less than 6 months). 1 branch is simple and perfect for my needs and projects

isn't everything a branch? i think it depends on what exactly your plans are/application is.

spark: some people will use the master branch for all the files and deliverables and then sync it with the gh-pages branch. I just delete the master and keep everything in gh-pages, so I can point people to the site: me.github.io/project or the repo github.com/me/project. Im not sure if that helps in your situation, but thought i throw it out there

yeah, i know the readme does, but it strips out any styles. was hoping someone has an idea or workaround, something...anything...

Is it possible to change the readme.md styles (font-size, link colors) in anyway. I know Github strips out html, is that true for a 'wiki' also?

will a readme.<blank>, .txt, or .rtf be parsed into HTML, or does it have to be a readme.md?

I came across this: http://cl.ly/0t2A102y2b2O regarding .htaccess files, and was wondering if there was another way to implement browser caching/expires? Im not using jekyll if that makes a dif. Thanks for your help!

does anyone know how to select all matched elements in atom? I asked in ##atom, but I've never had a response in there, so just doubling up here.
