[2014-02-02T04:29:59Z] jclrb And I kept wondering why it wanted my root password
[2014-02-02T04:29:48Z] jclrb Argh, I could swear my vimrc already had that option, nope!
[2014-02-02T04:28:57Z] jclrb I like that idea!
[2014-02-02T04:28:18Z] jclrb I'm on linux (archlinux)
[2014-02-02T04:27:43Z] jclrb Thanks ^^
[2014-02-02T04:27:39Z] jclrb But I'm going to erase everything and reinstall with a vagrant box instead of the host box. That way if I screw up I can just make a fresh box. /embarassing
[2014-02-02T04:25:40Z] jclrb I probably didn't
[2014-02-02T04:16:51Z] jclrb Actually, I ran 'rails new xyz" and it ran fine until I got to a similar error. That's new. I just installed ruby 2.1.0 today and did the gem upgrade all (to upgrade gems for the new ruby version), so that might be it. I only installed jekyll after doing those things, but even so the update could have caused a problem. Let me poke around for a bit :)
[2014-02-02T04:13:43Z] jclrb gem install jekyll
[2014-02-02T04:12:13Z] jclrb No, I literally installed it a few minutes ago
[2014-02-02T04:11:36Z] jclrb I kinda just installed it for the first time a bit ago, but I'll definitely try that
[2014-02-02T04:10:33Z] jclrb Ruby version is 2.1.0 for what it's worth
[2014-02-02T04:10:10Z] jclrb Oh wow. "jekyll --version" gives the same error
[2014-02-02T04:09:26Z] jclrb Yeah, it's in my own home folder and I made sure to double check it
[2014-02-02T04:08:08Z] jclrb Anyone know what that's all about?
[2014-02-02T04:08:04Z] jclrb "jekyll new abc123" results in an error: "/usr/lib/ruby/2.1.0/fileutils.rb:250:in `mkdir': Permission denied @ dir_s_mkdir - /usr/lib/ruby/gems/2.1.0/extensions/x86-linux/2.1.0/sqlite3-1.3.8 (Errno::EACCES)"
