jaybe I'm including the permalinks in individual posts, and that is fine. I was hoping to do it globally from the config file

I'm using jekyll to build a static site, when permalinks is set to pretty, all works well, but when it is set to /blog/:year/:month/:day/:title only the posts works fine, the static pages throw a page not found error. Any ideas how to fix this?
