m-bright_, I did check the source, I'm asking because the change to add this is 10 months old.. I'd be surprised if it is not supposed to be released yet :-)

Hiya. I'm trying to use the ``` with linenos:false (or any other option for that matter) as documented (http://octopress.org/docs/blogging/code/) but it fails. Looking further, it seems the code for the backtick_code_block.rb in octopress/octopress.git is older than the one being used at octopress/docs.git
