oh right, thanks, been awhile since I've looked at this, apparently I decided not to use invoke's subprocess support entirely, so yeah that is mine to fix

(Just rekicked the build to demonstrate it's still going to fail, but yeah that's exactly why I'm asking, I presume it's something to do with the detached HEAD state, but I don't see why)

Has anyone successfully managed to push to a branch from a GHA -- partiuclarly a different one than the one that triggers the build
