Hi. There's a project on github that has a submodule. I've checked out a branch of this project, but the submodule doesn't seem to be updating. Does anyone here know how that's handled?

I edited this file locally, and did "git add file" then "git commit -m "update" " then git push origin master but it says everything is up to date
