Which one of these buttons requires me to take action? If i click the "new pull request" does that mean I create a pull request or does it mean that there is a pull request on this branch and that i need to verify it?

my bad, I didn't know there was a difference. wtf not? users are easier to follow with a weekly eyeball - they generally don't have >1000 repos.
