+ [2016-03-10T19:55:51Z] abelamatus I'm using Jekyll with lanyon/poole theme. The landing page of that theme is the latest post and a paginator. I want to add a static page above the blog post and paginator. I don't want to write the content directly into index.html. Rather I want jekyll to insert the content from a markdown file. I can't figure out how to do this, or find a similar question answered. I would be glad for some quick help.

absolutejam_, are you saying it is a difference between your local version and your github pages version?
