Yeah I did and I googled, the licence says "to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software", I can include the MIT licence information but I can remove his attribution, correct?

Anyone here familiar with MIT Licence in terms of themes? I found a theme where the author released it with MIT Licence but in the code claims it's only valid if he's given attribution through a predefined copyright line.
