i have a particular reason for this... i am using an engine that um... lumps game data into a single file, which causes git to store each full version of that in every commit, which adds up quickly. recently i have "unlumped" this file to be efficient. Now, I wanna preserve all this history in a seprate repository, but have a new repository to start fresh that isn't like ~200mb
