Hi, i am trying to do git clone clone https://github.com/nfc-tools/libnfc but i am gettting: Permission denied (publickey). fatal: Could not read from remote repository. In my ~/.ssh i have only known_hosts and no other files. Why would i need a key to clone a public repo?

I have a file A which is in git repository. I have another version (B) of A which is not in git repository. B has been updated outside repository and I want to merge it back into A. How do I do that?
