[2013-12-02T21:14:05Z] jaybe it wouldn't be "tied in with jekyll" any differently than any other type of web site would integrate it... likely via javascript and or typical GET/POST calls.
[2013-12-02T21:14:25Z] jaybe e.g. it has literally nothing to do with jekyll or any other content/publishing system.
[2013-12-02T21:16:06Z] kaffeebohne jaybe: I meant for example that the post template looks for the comments and generates new files after some are added.

[2013-12-03T02:56:27Z] pontiki (so late to the convo): i decided to just forget comments. after years of being bombarded with spam, fake users, and all kinds of crap on wordpress, i jump over to jekyll, and it is so nice.
[2013-12-03T02:57:07Z] pontiki in about 5-6 years of blogging, only got a handful of real comments anyway. most ppl shared on the big social nets
[2013-12-03T03:06:03Z] jaybe 99.999999% of comments are idiotic, negative, useless, non-productive, and just plain fucking stupid.
[2013-12-03T03:06:18Z] jaybe see? ;p
