Now, here are the steps I've taken... I tried two methods, the first was using the gemfile as recommended on the github pages jekyll instructions.

+ [2015-01-22T02:46:37Z] jaybe zipper, you can visit your local jekyll dev environment by listening on 0.0.0.0:PORT - then visiting your computers IP:PORT
