[2013-09-22T22:55:58Z] jaybe first order of business - get/list the featured category posts… once done, get/list all else posts unless featured.
[2013-09-22T22:57:19Z] jaybe that would be the fastest approach, next to statically defining the post(s) for featuring within the site.variables.
[2013-09-22T23:00:52Z] ColKurtz jaybe, that's a great solution for personal use. I think since I have no posts at this point in time, I'll settle for a static home page separate from the blog index, and I'll start working on a new octopress pagination plugin with support for sticky posts, in the hopes that somebody else might find it useful

[2013-09-23T03:11:17Z] jkcclemens Is there a way to use Creole with Jekyll at all?
[2013-09-23T03:16:01Z] b3tamax jkcclemens: What's Creole?
[2013-09-23T03:16:29Z] jkcclemens A syntax like Markdown; WikiMedia uses it. I think the site is wikicreole.org
[2013-09-23T03:16:54Z] b3tamax jkcclemens: I'll check it out. Don't think there's a plugin for it yet.
[2013-09-23T03:17:00Z] jkcclemens I had already written half of my documentation for a product in Creole, using my own system, and then I switched to Jekyll, and I'd prefer to not have to convert it all into Markdown
